Bodyweight
Exercises
The exercises I am about to present to you
are free
functional
bodyweight
exercises
that you can do at home or
anywhere.
All you need is just a small space in your own bedroom.
Anyone can do these exercises whether you are a business
traveler, a stay at home mom, someone trying to get their
golf swing right, or a hardcore weight lifter.
They will
help to promote
strength, flexibility, and overall
fitness with very little space or time.
Life will suddenly become easier for you. Your energy
level will rise and your joints will no longer
ache.
*Now before I get started, here comes the
disclaimer, I must mention that you should consult a physician before
engaging in any exercise program. If you begin to feel any pain stop doing
the motion that caused the pain. Bodyweight exercises are as
good or better than weights if you want to gain functional
strength. If you want to be ripped like some steroid using
bodybuilder, maybe these are not what you are looking for.
These exercises will make your body
LOOK
and WORK great. I will soon be adding
pictures to demonstrate the exercises visually as well as
adding new content regularly. I will soon have a diet
regimen added for specific workouts along with a complete
workout routine for each day. Stay
tuned...
Beginners
can make large gains relatively quickly using these
exercises. Weightlifting regulars will enjoy
incredible gains in joint strength and flexibility.
Those looking to just trim up will definitely
benefit. You will find it easy to loose plenty of
weight when doing these exercises. They will give you
new found energy and mobility. As many of these
bodyweight exercises are also
flexibility
exercises.
Just make sure, if you have not exercised
in a while, you take it easy and get one or two more reps
the next day. Beginners should start with just three to four
exercises. Some days you can mix it up and try different
ones but always go back to the bread and butter ones that
are going to give you the immediate benefits you are looking
for. If you are going to want strength gains then you should
try one leg squats and handstand pushups. If you want
flexibility you may want waist turning and back bending
exercises. I will get into each of these later for now just
try a couple as you read about them or save a few in your
mind and do them at home.
You may be
saying, "I don't have enough time for exercise with my
busy lifestyle." Trust me when I say this. If you can
spare fifteen minutes per day, then you will be in great
shape. Many people may only be able to do just five reps
or less starting out. That's okay. Tomorrow you will get
one more and another the next day. The important thing is
that you will be starting something that keeps becoming
easier and is making you better.
Now with
all that said, let's begin. I am going to divide up the
bodyweight exercises in two ways. One is just simple
listing of exercises and how to do them. The other is
targeted towards the different objectives you may have
(legs, pushups, abs, etc.).
